Hmmmm... I am trying to think of how to post an honest and helpful response. He is ready to go because he is doing so good... goes visiting with me to my daughter's and my mom's... handles the being away from home and his mom well. Is eating great, is very good with his seperation from home and is extremely healthy and stout. If he was on the extremely tiny size I of course wouldn't allow it. In addition to all of this my vet said he is ready to go now. My daughter-in-law works with my vet and she assures me he is ready as well. Thank you for you concern, I wouldn't allow it without the vet's approval and without knowing what I know about this pup. Plus... by the time a placement happens.... naturally the baby will be older. I hope this eases your concerns. Thank you for your input.

| it's not a min 12 weeks. if they can go sooner and you feel they are able and your vet states they are able then it is fine. i have let mine go earlier especially due to the mommy wanting to fight w the puppies and snapping at the puppies. they usually say 12 weeks if the mommy is still very much involved with them and they are not able to be sep from their mommy yet. yes, it is best at 12 weeks but it's not a minimum.

Hi again lovinmyyorkies...I am so glad and confident in how you feel about your puppies...They are just so super tiny when babies and the only time I have ever seen them let go from mommy before 12-14 weeks is at a pet store and not a reputable breeder so I remain cautious on the side of the babies. Daisy get a life my comments were not aimed at you

I can't help but look as well! I am the same way... I can't help but look. Next year (Gypsy has had 2 litters and will rest a year before I breed her one last time) I plan on keeping a baby of her's. Gypsy and Capone are so precious to me and I want to keep one of their baby's. Thank you for your compliments. Yorkies are kinda like Lays Potato Chips... You can't have just one!!!! Plus... the little one wants to show all his 'cool' look.

he is really cute i just got my male puppy not to long ago.. they are so fun... and im not picking sides or trying to get any hard feeling but i see puppies go all the time at 9 weeks all of mine were purchased right at 9 weeks excempt my newest who i got too soon, but i dont think it makes anyone unreputable because they are a tad younger then other breeders feel comfortable letting go..i think there are lots of factors that all breeders look at when letting go of the babies... good luck! and everyone have a great day
