Looking for Yorkie near Boston I'm a young professional with a large apartment and I'm looking for a friendly, energetic and sweet Yorkie to share it with! This is my first dog so I certainly want an involved breeder who is happy to help with questions. I'm willing to drive 2-3 hours to find the right puppy. I don't have a preference for male or female, just a sweet dog who wants lots of love and attention. From all my research I'm specifically looking for a small - medium sized breeder who concentrates on yorkies or very few breeds and is passionate about their puppies. Thanks, Robin

Robin, it sounds like you have done some homework. It must be so exciting just to be thinking of getting your new friend that will be with you for years. I wish you the best in your search and welcome to the list. Debbie Ray

pup I have heard the yorkie population is very low in Boston. I am in NY and I had somebody come from Boston to purchase one of my pups. I am not sure if it has gotten any easier. If you cannot find any pups and are willing to come to NY, I have a young litter that is not yet availabe to leave yet. Good Luck!

I am in Maine, but I read the Foster's Daily Democrat yesterday and they have silkie pups for sale in there and the man wants 500.00 for the baby. But when it comes to Yorkies I even had a hard time in Maine to find a breeder. So best of luck to you. I called the one in the Foster's yesterday because my mom would like a yorkie and this is the closest we could find. She still hasn't decided if this is the way to go yet. Val and Babybear
