|
im sorry i should not have posted it that way i agree but i am so tired of people being judgemental, and i understand to inform peopl but a person makes the first post and before any question can be asked some one is firing these people with you breed too many different breed you do this your website looks like this..give the person a chance to answer some general questions about her pups and her breeding and find out through general curiosty who and what she is, before labeling her as bad breeder an no no one has said she is a bad breeder but when you look at an ad and the next thing u see is not postive it can be a turn off for potenial buyer...i an also agree for making sure you breed for what is best but i also agree breed for what you want too...its really no one else business what you do. and the breed is not going anywhere..because people who are so insistent on keeping the breed..and the reason pets are in shelters are due to people not what they look like, big small short haired long haired BUT I DO ABSOLUTELY APPOLOGIZED 100% FOR MY WORDING!!!!!!
Don't worry about it, I'm also guilty of this at some time or another, we all are And I think your a great person for even thinking to apologize And I agree with you 100%.people put Dogs in shelters, the dogs appearence may be a small factor, but ultimatly it's peoples fault.

| Tammy~ I do understand your points for the most part... Quote:
Why do you think they look that way? So far off what the standard for the breed calls for? Because there are so many people out there breeding any two dogs "with papers" that physically possess the ability to reproduce and not giving a squat what they look like in the end, only what price they pulled for it...and they probably got more because they saved on testing and offered full registration so that Joe Schmo down the street could get one, no questions asked, and breed...because it's his right if he paid for it...starting the cycle all over again. Forget the genetics, forget what happens after the dog leaves...sad, really. I realize you don't agree w/ the s/n agreement that many breeders require, but can you at least to some extent see why it is done in many cases? If I require our pups to be altered, at least I know the pups that I poured my blood sweat and tears into won't be a contributing factor to that problem. | |
