Looking for a female Yorkshire Terrier in Toronto hey everyone, for starters I am thrilled to have come across this message board, I have already learnt so much from browsing around anyways, I have decided to get a female yorkshire terrier and am having a little trouble finding some breeders in Toronto. I was wondering if you guy knew of any good ones in my area? Also, I have read on several websites that although AKC registration papers and a pedigree doesnt necessarily mean anything, that they should still definitely have it.... is this information correct? thanks for all the help in advance! cant wait to get my hands full raising a YT!

In canada you would be looking for a puppy that is CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) registered. Here is a link to yorkie breeders in Canada that follow the Canadian Yorkshire Terrier Association breeding standards. They have several Ontario breeders listed. http://www.thecyta.com/members.html

She will send you a email . She is very reputable and don't like to advertise on her website . What do you think of her Yorkies ? I have some Braecliff as ancestors in the pedigree of one of my girls .

they all look adorable! however, I personally dont like the really long coats, I like the more scruffy look with the shorter hair do you know what the approximate price of a female YT in the TO area would be?

im asking about the price because ive seen such big fluctuations within prices. I dont think i'll be able to afford the dogs from Braefliff.... they seem like such prestigious dogs would $800-1200 canadian be enough for a female yorkie?
