| I would have to agree that if you are set on getting a yorkie to get a larger size one due to you having a small child. I am a teacher and mother and no matter how you teach them to be gentle accidents can still happen. Also - do you know how much time it takes to care for this breed of dog - a Lot! Also there is teeth cleaning you will need to have, since they are a small breed of dog, not to mention the regular care. It sounds like you have a full load and no time left to care for an extra. If you are trying to just buy a pup for your daughter not to be alone so much without you - rescue a pup from the Humane Society or one like it. Yorkies can be pretty expensive and hard to find cheaper ones and ones that are healthy with health guarantees (1 year) or from reputable breeders that will sell to people with small children. I say this all with help and thought. Welcome to YT and all this advise from me and others you are getting is meant with love and care. Best Wishes, T. |

| I have another questions if some people are willing to help out. For those people who buy online, if any one has ever done so, how can you determine if the yorkie is the one you want? What kind of questions do you ask? and what do you look for? Sometimes I wonder why are people selling the same looking yorkies for 500 or 800. Is there a difference that makes them more, or not? Thank you for your time. |
