| Larger females in TX?? Every add or website is selling small or "teacup" sized yorkies, so where can I find the not so small ones?? I've looked in the paper and called a few people and they say they only breed for small puppies and rarely have one get over 7 lbs. I have a 2 yr old yorkie male who was supposed to be 4-7 lbs but is 10-12 lbs and he is the perfect size IMO. I know it's hard to guess the adult size when they're young, but does anyone know where I could find a breeder who has puppies that would be 7-10 lbs full grown in the DFW area?? I'm just trying to research and find canidates for when we'll get a puppy in July/Aug. TIA!!

| Ranger, I am in NJ and I'm having the same problem. I am looking for a bit smaller, maybe 5-6 pounds and all I find is 3-4 pounds! Good luck, hopefully we will both find one soon! |

| I had a litter in Feb. and out of 5 only 1 is going to stay small. My problem was everyone wanted the small ones. Hope you find some that fit your requirements. |

| I appreciate your help txshopper but we're not looking for a puppy just yet. But if you have more info on the breeder I'd love to check them out for future reference.

| We bought Nomi in Killeen, TX. Our breeder lives about an hour and a half outside of Dallas. Nomi is about 8 pounds. Our neighbor bought one a year before us. Their dog is about 7 pounds. I am not sure when they have puppies available. Please let me know if you would like her contact information. |

| Kileen is about a 3 hr drive from Dallas, so that might be too far of a drive for us. But if they are near Dallas then I'd be interested in their information. -Thanks

| She use to live in Killeen, but moved about 90 miles out. I think that she is now about an hour and a half from Dallas. I'll PM her information to you, that way you'll have it as an option for whenever you are ready to purchase a puppy. Best of luck on your search! |
