| Yorkies in Ohio Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie and I am new to the board! I have a 7 month old Yorkie and I am looking for another. The breeder I got Riley from was from PA and I want to find a closer breeder because I am looking for another Yorkie. The only problem is that I can't find a Yorkie breeder near me that sells a Yorkie puppy for companionship for less than $1500. I know breeding can be expensive but if your Yorkie has five puppies and you charge $2000 each for them, you end up with $10,000! Does is really cost that much to breed one litter of puppies plus the mom and dad's health care? If any of you out there are anywhere near Northeast Ohio and breed Yorkies, e-mail me at shortirishcuti@adelphia.net. Thanks for listening! |

Hi there, I'm right outside of Columbus, and I can tell you I shopped for Gracie quite awhile and I paid $1,200 for her from a private breeder in New Albany (an affluent suburb here). I've seen them advertised in the Columbus Dispatch for less, but I have no idea who's selling them, if they are legitimate breeders or back yard puppy mills. But you can always check the ads and make some phone calls. http://www.dispatchclassifieds.com/ Just click on pets and then type in Yorkie
