Any additional information you want to add: Skippy is a ten year old Yorkie with the spirit of a five year old. Skippy still has accidents, but the more chances he has to go outside to relieve himself the better it is. I would not let him go to a home with children under ten. He has never bit anyone; including toddlers. The reason I have this requirement is because Skippy is older and if a child rough houses with him, or picks him up wrong he cries. I did take him to the vet to see if there was a problem, and he said everything was fine. He's just getting old like the rest of us. He gets very attached, and loves sitting with you, sleeping with you or anything else you're willing to let him do. The reason I have to let him go is because of my health. I will be moving into my daughters home and she does not want any animals in her house. Thank you for your time.

| I am so sorry you have to let your little guy go. I know it must be heartwrenching to have to make this decision. I hope that you find a home that loves him as much as you do. It would have been so nice if your daughter could have let you remain together, but I do understand. Hugs...

| My heart is breaking that you have to find a new home for your little guy. Just so very sad that your daughter doesn't understand. I pray he finds a wonderful home. You can also contact Florida Yorkie Rescuse. They will be able to find a wonderful home, they also screen homes before they are adopted out. Home Again, my heart breaks for you. Sending out prayers for you on your health.

| Thank you all for your kind words. It is really tearing me apart. He's my best bud, and I'm so used to the two of us doing everything together that I don't even know how to deal with this. I had to bring my cat Charlie to his new home today, and even though I checked out the house and knew he was going to a new home; I cried like a baby when I had to leave and say goodbye.

| Do you have a good friend or relative who would maybe take him so you can still see him? You never know, maybe someone would love to have him. A man we met told us that he was so sad that there was no one to take his dog if something happened to him. He later told us that an old friend he hadn't thought of told him they would take him.
