We've been talking about the AKC puppy registration papers. Registration is used by show people and by breeders.

They give you the breeding rights, and show rights. Only a full bred dog can have papers. They tell you the family tree of the dog.

They had said I cannot get her papers, however of she has her own litter, I could pay to register the whole litter including herself. I had questioned it, but that is what they told me. youve been misinformed about your little gals ability to be registered with AKC let along her puppies... there are many registries like CKC (Contential Kennel Club) that will allow you to register (if she was bought without them) your girl and her litter but AKC will NOT!

I would suggest since youve only had the puppy for such a short time why not contact your breeder, most reputable ones will take the puppy back and re-home them. I have it stated in my contract!!!

I'm sorry if you answered this, but she's 7.5 weeks? How long have you had her? Did you breed her yourself? You're saying you paid 1200 for a female w/o papers and 2800 for a male w/ papers and you bred them and had Princess? Just clarifying.

Maybe her female pup was bought as strictly a pet and the papers did not go with the pup at the time of purchase?? Maybe the breeder is holding them until the female is spay.. That is exactly what I do! I also go to AKC and enter all the info on the litter as to who purchased the puppy, full or limited and then AKC sends them an email to register the puppy..
