Senior Yorkie Talker | good breeders of yorkies in Georgia.. I'm trying to stay clear of the internet sites to purchase my yorkshire terrier puppy but it's hard. I live in Georgia haven't lived here long,I don't have people to ask where to look. Have found web sites of so called good breeders pups are very high priced. Not even sure what is a fair price to pay for a pet quality yorkie. Any suggestions on where to look first? |

| I recommend TyAva and Vangogh Yorkshires. If either of those two don't work they both can recommend breeders in the area that may fit what you're looking for.

| I agree. I don't know either personally, but I've only heard good things about them.

| VanGogh, i.e. YT Member Topknot Between the two, I would definitely go with VanGogh Yorkies - who is a member here. I see her at shows quite often, and I like what I see. Here YT screen name is Topknot |

My Emma is a Vangogh bred Yorkie. I am so head over heels with her. Health is what is important to me and she is healthy as she is beautiful. Very happy with the process of buying a puppy and the support I get.

YT Addict | Carter's Yorkies in GA are good. Check out her website, she is AKC breeder and has championship bloodlines. She doesn't keep them til 12 weeks and lets hem go early if they are ready. fltekdvr just got theirs and are very happy. Chester is beautiful. I researched for four months before I decided to go with a Pensacola local breeder. I would have bought from Carters too. Good luck |

They have been breeding for years. They are fair and honest. I did tons of research before finding Gracie..(inclusive of the entire Atlanta area for a radius of more than 100 miles.) I got more red flags in the conversations than you can imagine. The ones I saw did not seem healthy. Then there was Gracie, her sister and brother fat and happy in the kitchen just looking adorable!

Senior Yorkie Talker | Omg that is so funny u said that. I got bailey from him. The one thing that I was bothered by was I didn't ask to see the parents I keep kicking myself in the butt for that I know better. Bailey is a beautiful pup don't get me wrong he is healthy, smart and seems so far to have the correct coloring and hair texture, maybe I just need to quit fretting about it and go back to him and ask this time lol. Do you have pictures of Gracie?would love to see her.thanks for the reply. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Bailey is a little bigger now I will take some more of him soon. Would love to compare the two. How old is Gracie? Bailey will be five months on the 28 and he was just at the vet at 4 months his weight was 2.2 I changed his food hoping he will gain some weight. Did you see the parents ?. |
