| I have a question? Is the weight of the parents in pounds? If so, with such a "new" breed why would one breed off standard dam? Is the weight standard different in Biewers? Just curious. He is absolutely stunning!

| Yes, parents weight is in pounds. Female is an absolute gorgeous girl that has whelped 3 beautiful litters . Now Reason I chose to breed her , one it's quite normal to breed a brood bitch when she has so many other great qualities to bring into the breed which we so lack of . STRUCTURE, movement , Depth of chest , good spring in the ribs . Beautiful coat, perfect ear set and ear size. Like you said , The breed being so new we have had our share of work . Size is the least of our concerns at the moment . I would breed this over and over again for all the reasons mentioned above to improve the breed. Hearty , healthy pups vs tiny's any day with issues . They will make great companions to anyone or any family. She had three litters , this was her last ... previous 2 litters are all within standard 5-7 pounds . And all 3 litters have been outstanding in quality and in health and she did an awesome job improving my lines and others . |

| Thanks I imagined there was good reason, not that I quite understand, but I am right to assume that breeding her into the lines, despite her size, is a means to an end to better the breed down the lines....yes? Thanks for the answer.

| Correct Lynnz , there's more to it than just putting 2 dogs together . We really have to think and do a bit of analyzing to come up with the right combination when we're trying to improve a breed. It takes a bit of time to see the true fruit of a well developed breed . We are still so young ... |
