| Wanted- young/baby male for disabled stay-at-home mom in SC I'm a disabled stay-at-home mother of three. I have a 13 year old Brittany (she is on her last legs, unfortunately - we're making her as comfortable as possible and spoiling her rotten to the core!) and am wanting a male Yorkie to keep me company. I am personally unable to work and am fighting for disability. Husband said I could have a small breed dog such as a Yorkie but he would not spend hundreds of dollars on one. He also said he will drive up to 5 or 6 hours to pick one so that it did not have to be stressed out by a plane ride. I grew up with Yorkies all my life until I got married and moved out. (My mother in DC even has one right now - cutest little thing named Teddy that adores me... and I can't use my daughterly persuasions on my mom to snatch him up for myself! believe me, I have tried!) I know this is the holiday season so there probably aren't many baby Yorkies available. Please keep me in mind though if you have one that isn't selling and just want to find a forever home for. We own our own home in South Carolina, with a six foot privacy fenced in yard. I don't have 'pets' - I have furry children! I can be reached at carinhosa@comporium.net or bheuston@gmail.com at any time. Thanks for your time. God bless and happy holidays to everyone. |

| Yep, already tried all my rescues. We believe strongly in adopting unwanted shelter pets before buying from a breeder. But we also believe in researching the proper dog for our home life. Unfortunately the only Yorkie "near" us is 14 years old and $200 adoption fee. I prefer to not spend that amount of money on a dog that is at the end of it's life, you know? I did check on it though - he is not living his life in a shelter, he's in a foster home, so that is good.

| Where in SC are you located? And exactly how much are you wanting to spend? I don't know of any AKC Registerable yorkies for less than $550 in this area. I can check our local paper if you'd like or you can check it at www.greenvilleonline.com . |

| I live in the Rock Hill/Fort Mill area. I'm not permitted to spend more than $200 and according to my husband, even that is pushing it. (I love him, but he's stingy on the money factor when it comes to buying an animal.) I'll check that online paper. Thanks for the info!
