| Searching for small female in Texas Hello all, I am looking to add another female to my family. I currently have a 13yo girl, so I am familiar with the breed and all the life stages. My desires are: Small female ~ about 3-5lbs mature weight Spayed preferred, but not a requirement (I DO NOT breed) Black/tan (but not opposed to other colors) Would like an adult 1-3 years old I thought maybe someone out there is holding back a girl that they thought would mature bigger, but didn't; or didn't turn out to be perfect show quality; or was retired early from breeding (I know that females this size should not be breeding). My husband and I (no kids) raise and show American Shetland Ponies, so we are familiar to what it takes to be dedicated to a breed. Therefore, we are searching for a pet only girl, as I feel breeding should be left to the professionals. We go to horse shows, and take our girl with us. She loves to ride in the truck, and especially loves all the attention she gets at the shows. Please let me know if you have a girl that fits, or if you know of someone that does. Thanks, Kelly

| I have a female Cousin living in the Keller area. She is old, but has a few good years left. She also is petite, but strong. |

| Give Pet adoption: Want a dog or cat? Adopt a pet on Petfinder a try. They have many dogs that would fit what you are looking for. Just type in your zip and Yorkie and it will pull them all up. They will all be spayed as they come from rescues or shelters. They will also be vetted. Good luck. |

| Petfinder Adoptable Dog | Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie | Grand Prairie, TX | Chrissy This one is especially beautufil. She is an 8 month old Golden Yorkie. Weighs 6 lbs. There are a whole bunch in Texas on Petfinder. Some may not be exactly what you want, but certainly worth a look. Fees are reasonable. Most are around $300 and that includes the spay. This one girl I listed above, linked for you is stunning. She is eight months old. She's a golden Yorkie. She is in rescue because the breeder turned her in. Probably because she was not able to breed. She weighs 6 lbs. but is a little thin. I know you wanted smaller. I have seven all ranging in size. Believe me six pounds is not big at all. It depends too on the build. Some are six pounds but tiny, they are just low and stocky. Hope you find what you are looking for. Also, hope you'll take a look at some of the rescue kids needing homes. It's a win win. Elaine |

| That's wonderful. I was in love with her when I saw her. I'm always scanning Petfinder. I'm in NJ otherwise I'd be in trouble again. I have a sign that says "Yorkies are like potatoe chips. You can't have just one." And, boy is that true. I love my babies so much!! |
