They usually run anywhere form $700.00 and up.

What do you mean by good price?? A bargain or average price??
It goes to both extremes but somewhere in the middle would be about $900 but I hate
to even say that because there are so many reasons one might charge more. No matter
what the quality, you are going to pay alot more on the west coast and new york
city and the supply and demand thing comes into play also. A good breeder that
puts alot of thought and research into her breeding and is concerned about heath
is worth it's weight in gold. Someone else may see this differently. This is strickly
a ballpark figure. Where is Nipomo??

You must be. When I lost my first yorkie, I said never again, that I just
could not go though that much heartache again but a year and a half
later I got my Crystal and she will be 12yrs old in June. I hope you find
a good breeder. There are lots of yorkie breeders in Ca.( see you changed
your cp) this site has some good ones www.ytca.org

To tell you the truth, I don't want to say much compliments about you! because I don't want to have too many people on the waiting list.. because I want one when time is right!! hahah! Yes I changed it. That way I don't have to explain. California is much easier. central Ca. An hour from Santa Barbara.

I said the same thing as well. I swore I would not have another one because the pain was so deep. I didn't eat for 3 days.

I think it really depends on what part of the country you live in. I know that yorkies have a tendancy of being higher in Cali. I live South of Houston. Dogs in my area are priced $500-1,800...depending on size and quality. I sold one puppy from my last litter to a family in Cali. It was cheaper for her to fly from Cali to Houston than to buy one there.

great dogs and she is a wonderful person. Something to think about anyway.
Santa Barbara area is going to be out of sight as far as price but I'd sure like
to live there.
