Any additional information you want to add: Attachment 339767 Attachment 339768 Attachment 339769 Attachment 339770 Miss Dolly has been the pride of my life, letting her go is the absolute very last resort for me. But with the long period of international traveling every 6 month that’s required by my job, and the costs of over $3000 one way to ship her, also time spent in quarantine facilities, I just cannot afford to take her along anymore. Dolly has been spending lots of time with my mom lately along with her chi sister, but my mom cannot really provide a decent environment for both of them. So, I made the painful choice to find Dolly a sweet loving home that she deserves. Dolly is a sweet loving little girl, although it takes some time for her to warm up to people. She is full of personality, she likes to do things on her own pace, only kisses when she wants to, and absolutely loves lap naps. She does not walk on leash very well, although she can put up with short trips. She is physically healthy, actually there’s very few time she’s ever had medical condition at all. According to her vet, although she is tiny, she is in very healthy weight for her frame size. She’s fully potty trained (outside) and hasn’t had an accident in a long time, but she does need to be on a potty schedule though. I got Dolly from Tsa-La-Gi (Brenda) when she was 8 month old. Actually Dolly’s picture still remains on their website: the first one under teenage yorkies. She was AKC registerable, but since she was going to be a pet, I never cared enough to register her. I’ve seen pictures of both her parents although I do not remember their names. Her mom was 6 lbs with steel blue on the back, and her dad (who passed away @12 years old) was a little over 2 lbs and has silver down the back (he was very old in the picture though). They are both AKC registered. Dolly has one littermate (male) who was way bigger than her. If you need more information, please contact Brenda. she would be going to her new family with a new bag of NV instinct that would be able to last her close to 2 months; bags of treats, harness and leash, a bed, a doggie stroller, tons and tons of clothes; also she’s been recently (last month) vaccined, examed by her vet and will be going to her new home with a health certificate. I would rather not have to ship her. And I have to see you IN PERSON in order for you to get her. These would be some of the most important qualities we’re looking for in a potential new family: -time is essential, we don’t want her end up some place with owners as busy as we are. She is a high-maintenance little dog, she needs attention, loves people more than other dogs. We would definitely prefer to have someone who spends lots of time at home. -although money cannot solve all the problems, we do need someone who can afford the financial responsibilities of owning a yorkie. Ex. Semi-annual trips to the vet, grooming done every 6 weeks, heart worm preventative, premium food (nature’s variety instinct duck formula mixed with Stella and Chewy’s freeze dried patties) and treats, and last but not least, accidents happen, so a little extra money on the side always helps. -she loves to be close to people. So she needs to be in a house that she is allowed on the bed, sofa, etc. -no young children please. She is very small and is not too comfortable around kids. Managing between her and my 3-year-old is very stressful, so I would rather have her in some place that doesn’t cause a stressful situation. -no aggressive dogs please. She does get along with other dogs, but definitely not big (or small) aggressive ones. -last but not least, she loves to follow people around the house, so extra care is needed around her, being stepped on or sat on might cost her life. Also, she cannot jump not even from the bath tub, so someone would have to lift her on/off the bed/sofa, or a stepping stool is needed. Luckily she’s very smart about it, she would never jump off of places that she’s not comfortable with the height, she would rather whine to get your attention so she could be lifted off. All in all, she needs a LOVING FAMILY~ I’m leaving on the 29th of this month, and I would really appreciate a couple extra weeks with her, but you are more than welcome to come visit her anytime. These are some pictures of her, first two: how she looks in a long hair style, third, how she looks in a shorter hair style, forth: just came back from the groomers in short hair style. There are also a ton more pictures in my album http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/album.php?albumid=3694 when you email, please include a description of you and your family, thanks. |

Hope she adjusts well in her new home. I'll be thinking of her and haven't been able to get her out of my mind since I read the post. Let me know if I can help in any way. |
I sure hope you will at least meet this person first and at least do a home check to ensure where Dolly will be residing.;) |

Dolly's breeder's name is Glenda Beavers, good? |
Dolly is home! :D Actually, she's been with me for a while - I took off work last week to be with her while she got to know her new family and settled into her new routine. I want to thank Bing for trusting me with her baby girl. Bing was incredibly cautious and thorough in selecting Dolly's new home. I can't imagine a question that she didn't think of to ask me, and I loved seeing how careful she was in making her decision. Dolly is so PERFECT and precious, I am completely wrapped around her tiny paws already. :2hearts2: She has obviously been very well loved and spoiled, and I'm committed to making sure that continues for her. She and my other babies adjusted quickly - I am so proud of all of them. They even snuggle together when they sleep and it's so CUTE!! Dolly has helped bring a smile to my face and ease the ache that's been with me since Alexander's passing just before Christmas. I've loved her since the first time I saw her picture here on YT a couple of years ago, and I feel so very blessed to have her in my life. :heart to Bonny |
