| I just found this thread today. OMG, all of your puppies are gorgeous. I so wish I could get Cadbury. Maybe if you have another litter someday I'll be lucky enough. (I've got my first going off to college and I'm in the process of retiring because of issues with my hand so my budget at the moment is tight.) And I'm a new mom to Charlie so maybe it's good to wait a little while. Charlie is 4 months now and he's turned me into an obsessed crazy woman! He's spoiled rotten. (I also spoiled my children rotten. I figure you can never ever have too many hugs, kisses and treats. They've turned out to be lovely kids, always polite and kind.) Charlie is turning out the same way. The more you spoil and love him, the sweeter he gets!!!! My kids laugh at me (since he was supposed to be "their puppy." Every night before I put him into bed I have a little ritual (just like I did with them.) I hold him (like a baby), rock him a bit, and we have a chat about settling into bed. I can't bear to crate him (and the vet isn't happy about it,) but the truth is, it's working well for all of us. He either sleeps with me (he's a big little guy) or in his own bed in my room, whichever he prefers. I've been thinking in the past few weeks I'd love him to have a friend. I'm home with him all day but he has so much fun when we have a play date with my friend's puppy. They just play for hours. (Kind of like why I wanted a lot of kids, even though they sometimes argue, they always have each other and they're never bored.) I'd love him to have someone to be with every day. I hope Cadbury finds his perfect home soon. I wish it was with me  |
