September 13, 2009 (I think the people she was purchased from lied about her age as when I finally got her she was just barely walking) 7. 10 weeks 8. I dont know but both parents were on site and yorkies 9. I dont have a scale but I dont think she weighs a pound as she is very tiny. My hand barely fits around her chest circumference. 10. no papers 11. Price: $500 (this was the original purchase price but I might consider an offer) 12. When puppies will be ready to be taken home: now 13. Do you ship your Yorkies: I can but I really would rather not 14. Any additional information you want to add: She is very healthy and sweet. She is very bright, playful and ACTIVE. She is picky about her food and has to be with someone all the time. She hates to be alone and will tell you all about it...for a long time. I am fond of her and have named her Holly but I have 7 cats and an old dog and they dont like her and she has no one to play with so I think she would be happier in a home where people are used to Yorkies and want that specific kind of dog. I have never sold an animal in my life so I the only thing I do know is that I want her to have the best life long home possible. Thank you. ------- |

| She was barely walking? She's 10 weeks? No picture. No papers. You just got her and you want to get rid of her already? I hope someone rescues this baby.

| Please don't scare this poster away with judging. This is a very little Yorkie and YT needs to help not judge. I hope you find someone here who will be interested. |

| I sent you a pm! How odd that you were sold a puppy that barely walked! Are you able to contact the breeder?

| She stated the reason she feels she needs to find a new loving home for the pup. Please don't bash her or scare her off...the worst thing to do is to have the pup be left in a situation that will not work. I'm also concerned & would hate for her to go back to the breeder if the breeder did in fact let her go too young...shows just how much she really does care about her babies. Freemerryjane - Can you provide a little more info on the pup? This is a great site full of yorkie lovers. If you honestly feel it will not work out, then I hope possibly someone here can help you find a home for her or take her. Good luck!

| Hi. I'm sorry you are needing to rehome your pup. I'm sure there are many on here that would be interested or who can help you find a good home. Can you post some pictures of her? If you are having trouble resizing you can send the picures to my private email address jrsygal37@aol.com and I will glaldy resize them and post them for you. Can you also tell us when and where the pup was purchased? That may help with trying to figure out her age etc. Please be careful about who gets her. Yorkies that small require very special care and especially if she's so young. There are issues such as hyperglycemia etc. I will help you out any way that I can. Elaine |

| I think it's so wrong to judge a person before you know them or their situation. She's doing the right thing in trying to find just the perfect home for her puppy because her home is wrong for her due to the cats and old dog. Lets not chase a new member off.

| Hi, when I posted this I forgot to add the picture and since it had to be ok'd by the admin I wasnt able to add it right away. My father purchased this puppy for my sister who didnt want her and he couldnt keep her. He gave her to me to hang onto till he decided what he wanted to do with her. Since then my dad has gone into a mental state where he isnt doing well and so I have this puppy that I was supposed to find a home for or keep. I have tried to keep her and I think she is wonderful. As you read I have many other animals who arent used to a lively puppy and so things are a bit tense here as you could imagine with 7 cats and an old dog. My thinking is that I want to find her a home with other yorkies or with someone who loves this specific breed because thats what she deserves. She is just going to require more maintaining than I can give her. Its not that I am a bad pet owner or I dont love her because I am a good pet owner and I do. I just want her to have a better, happier home where she is accepted by the other animals and has someone to play with. Thats all. Its nothing odd its just that I got a puppy that I didnt ask for. My dad paid that much for her and I had nothing to do with any of it. I got stuck in the middle. So I am here at your mercy trying to find a good home for her, thats all. I hope you understand where I am coming from. Thank you for all who posted and I hope that someone will find her interesting enough to want to add her to their family. Annette. P.S. yes I think the lady who originally sold her did so too early and I think thats terrible. I however, had no choice in the matter so thats why I have her at such a young age. Here is a picture of her. Last edited by Freemerryjane; 12-11-2009 at 12:35 PM. Reason: misspelled word |
