| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Not to get off subject but my kids would have to hit the road NOT my dogs. I hope she can find good homes for these poor babies and someone will take the time to work with them. I really think yorkies are too wonderful not to enjoy them to the fullest. The OP doesn't realize what she is missing and what her child is missing.

I don't think theres any crazy people here, we are all very passionate about our yorkies. And to hear that they live in a barn or garage is just heartbreaking when we all love and have our dogs a part of our families, it is just sick to hear that you keep them in there because it's "nasty" to have them in your house around your child, we all have kids too and other pets and theres nothing nasty about it. I have a small child too and I find the time to take care of everyone. It's just if you couldn't handle everyone maybe you shouldn't of got so many dogs. If you are looking for good homes for these pets, don't worry this IS a good place to find homes, I think you would see that with al lthe concerns, you know these dogs wouldn't be in those types of conditions, that they WILL be in a house, a warm bed snuggled up to their owners. It's just your price is a bit crazy considering the circumstances. Please reconsider to give these dogs a chance to get the best they can get. You don't need to get so upset we are only trying to help | |

| 6500 sq foot is plenty of room for the dogs to visit inside and maybe sleep in the garage at night with a xpen and beds small house dogs dont belong in the garage or the barn no matter how nice it is for horses...if you cant give the attention to the small dogs how are the horses fairing? why did you purchase HOUSE dogs (8 i might add) if you dont want them in the house? you might not be a dog hater but you definitely arent a dog lover either. i think you should look for better homes for them where they will get more attention. Its not fair to keep them in this situration because you dont like what real devoted yorkie lovers say about your method, it also sounds like the Maltese gets more then the yorkies for some reason. sounds like the yorkies are red headed step children yes my kids come before my dogs but i treat them all with love and care for them all no matter what because they are all family Last edited by Wylie's Mom; 07-16-2009 at 09:30 AM. |
