Here is some information that can better describe genes of the chinchilla. I also like this authors views about color. All about the Red

In fact, they should be priced lower than the standard. I mean why pay that much and breed a dog that cannot be in any AKC shows which is the most popular register?

Why would a pedigree with nothing but out crosses be desirable? I much prefer a nice line bred dog. Just because none of the dogs are related does not make the dog better. Some of my most disappointing breedings were from out crosses.

I dont want to start a controversy. I'm just very proud of my little Asti. I got him yesterday, and I am very pleased.

She had him listed on puppyfind for $1500

I found my new male on petfinder also. He is a parti, gold and chocolate carrier. I am excited to see what puppies I can get from him. I am a little disappointed in him, as I wanted a 5-6 lb male . and he is going to top out at 3 lbs. He is a cute little guy . I named him Tartan, meaning many colors.

I said that wrong, I got him from Puppyfind. I am just getting into the different colors of yorkies. I have had chocolate for 5 yrs. I love that color.

Sounds beautiful Love to see puppies! My girl is a platinum with a gold under coat. Everyone just loves her they always say " I WANT her puppies" Which ones are hers?

Asti will probably be platinum as an adult also... The chinchilla gene makes the gold really light.

You know I never knew of those colors till I started asking and looking around. On her reg. papers she is traditional Black and Gold. Her parents are a beautiful steel blue. Like stated in the AKC website. The breeder had a silver Yorkie at her house that I fell in love with and wasn't related to my Contessa I just wished I could get one of that color and then Contessa changed colors as she grew. She is just gorgeous.
