I have to be honest that I wonder if some people off-handedly told you your dog was worth so much more than you paid, and you thought maybe this was a chance to make some money. Especially when this is a time period often full of frustration over house-training. While I am not against making a profit.....I don't think that is any way to do business with pets. This may not be at all what is happening, but it does come to mind.

Breeders that do merit asking high prices for their puppies have put a lot of work, much personal investment, and years of dedication into their line. They offer not only the puppy you see before you but a lifetime of experience, knowledge and love for the breed.

For someone to just pop in and make their first post about selling a 6 month old Chocolate puppy for many times what he would be sold by a reputable breeder, is bound to illicit some questions. I almost typed, "don't take it personal," but decided that yes -- you should take it personal. Selling Yorkies, no matter what faults they may have, is a very personal experience. This really is not like coin collecting where you can accidently find an old dime with a misprint and then make a bundle on it. These babies deserve more respect than that.
