Thank you Wendy. It was a tearful goodby. I thought I would be keeping her. Just when I was going to pull my ads along came a retired couple that fell in love with, first her pic, then Addison sealed the deal when she smothered them in kisses when they came to see her in person. (She wasnt supposed to do that). I called them a couple of days later and asked if they were ready to bring her back and they said "'I'm sorry but no hun, she is the most wonderful puppy we have ever owned." Darn it! I REALLY was not expecting to sell her, but she went to a wonderful home and for that I am grateful. Where in Michigan are you from?

Sorry Wendy I missed this post. Been hectic around here lately. Extended stay guests, a death in the family AND Thanksgiving. Very stressed! I have never been to the Michigan Meet ups. Could you let me know about them?

Sorry the little girl has found her forever home. She was a wonderful puppy and I REALLY miss her. I thought for sure I would be keeping her but a retired couple called and was so excited about adding her to their emptly nest and she was the perfect fit for them. It was a hard decision but one that I felt good about after meeting them. Thank you for asking about Addison though.

| When I first saw those pictures I knew they wouldn't last last long. They are just the cutest puppies I've seen. Great job finding the perfect homes for them. I'm proud for you and for them.

Thank you, I was more than a little surprised that I did not receive one phone call on the little girl until her now new owner came along. Not one. I ran numerous ads in the newspaper as well as posting it on several internet sites. I truly thought Addison would remain mine but all happened for the best (I guess). She has a wonderful home with new owners who are spoiling her terrible and for that alone I count my blessings.

I started advertising taking deposits when they were 8 weeks, then kicked it in with heavy advertisement at 11 weeks old and didn't get a single call untill 14 weeks old. Usually, in the past anyways, with my Newfies I already had deposits on most before they were 5 weeks old. So this was very different with the Yorkies. Good thing I only had 2 to sell. I'm sure the economy played a big part in not getting the calls I expected.
