| Will I ever find the right breeder? I must admit, finding the right breeder has taken over my life the last few days! I have had a few people contact me and I really appriciate you all taking the time to try and help. I am still looking for the right breeder that meets what I am looking for. I am looking for a small male pref. under 5 lbs but not unhealthy, of driving distance from Morehead ky or columbus ohio(where my family is from), I am looking to get a puppy in January so that we can work with him on a schedule w/o the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Lets see what else, I really just want to find someone who really cares about their puppys and are in it for the right reasons. Also, some may feel that this shouldnt be a factor but I would like to not spend more than $700 on a puppy. I only want it for a pet and would be having him neuterd, I have no desire to breed, I just want a little boy to love and spoil. I have been wanting a yorkie for years and am finally at the stage of my life where I can provide everything that a puppy needs. If anyone has any suggestions or feel that you could be "the one" please let me know! Thank you! |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Just keep searching, the perfect one will come. I bought Cali kind of on impulse, before finding YT and got a sick dog that required extensive medical care and while I wasn't looking for a tiny the breeder charged more because she was tiny, (runt) well she grew bigger than she said, which I didn't care just that she charged more and shouldn't have. When I decided to get another, after I found YT, I looked for 6 months and found Pixie who was exactly what I was looking for. A member on here told me about her and I knew of the Breeder as she was a big name in Yorkies in my area, I just didn't think she would be approachable. She was great and within 45 minutes of talking to her I was on my way to see and bring home Pixie. I also got Roxie from her. SO your baby is out there and will be worth the wait.

Senior Yorkie Talker | Thankfully, I have been blessed twice with finding the right breeder. But honestly I had to be willing to go out-of-state. I'm sure if I waited I could have found someone closer. But when something fits, you make it happen. Case in point. In a couple weeks I'm flying to pic my baby up from her Auntie. Yes I paying alot more $$$ in travel, but my & my fur families happiness is worth it.

| Check breeders.net. I have pups but am not in your price range or area The website is very good though and I know many who advertise on it. If you type in your zip code it will give you the yorkie breeders in your area.

| Oh thank you so much! We think so too. You have no idea how hard it is going to be to part with Chloe. She has the cutest little button nose, short legs, nice solid body, and the devil in her eyes. She, like her mama Star, never went through the flying nun ear stage. Their ears went straight up and stayed there. If Chloe turns out to be half the dog Star is, she is going to be a gem. Mama Star is something else, to say the least. When it was time for Star to find her forever home, she was "sold" three times but each time the sale fell through. I viewed it as a sign that her forever home was here. We sure were blessed with that special litter. For those who don't know, Star, along with her sisters, Love (now called Little Regi), Faith, Hope and Charity were hand raised when their mama Reggie, the love of my life, was called to heaven when the girls were only 8 days old. All five girls survived and surprised everyone, especially the vet. Faith, Hope and Charity (now Destiny) live with YT members. From the beginning we decided to keep Love because she was the only one with a white chest, like her mama Reggie. Well let me tell you, she is so much like her mama it's spooky. At first I was going to call her Love, her birth name, but my husband said our Reggie would always be with us as long as we have Love, so she became Regi. OK, enough of that, I'm getting misty eyed! This is my Reggie. The first picture was taken shortly before she gave birth to her first litter. The second picture was when she was around 5 years old. The third is her smile when ever you rubbed her belly. And the last one was taken the day before she gave birth to our miracle girls, nine days before she went over Rainbow Bridge.
