| Looking for a Yorkie in Pittsburgh, PA Hi, I'm so hoping someone here can direct me to a little yorkie puppy. We are looking for a female and do not know any local breeders. Its very important to us, to help my family heal. My Silky Terrier was lost on April 5th by the Groomer. After 3 months of continous search and handing out over 5000 posters, the hope of our Tabitha was lost, along with her. Her whole story is on Our Tabitha | We'll Never Give Up Looking For You. So after talking it over me and my husband have decided that its time to bring a new furbaby home and we have decided on a Yorkie, which is very similar to our lost Silky. We are not looking to replace, but we are hoping it will mend all of our broken hearts, just a little. And after seeing my other 2 dogs play with the neighbors dog today, we're postive they are ready too. Thanks for your help. Tracy |

| Our prayers are with you! I can't imagine the pain of missing one of my babies! I hope whoever may have her sees one of your fliers and gets her back home! What was the groomer thinking? That is crazy that the door is still being left open after Tabitha's experience! Its nice to hear that others are being supportive..the groomer should be right beside you handing out fliers! Do keep us all updated!

| I went to your site...my heart breaks for you. I can't imagine what you have been going through. I pray your little one is safe and that she finds her way back to your arms. Good luck in finding Tabby and your new baby. God bless!

| Hi, I want to wish you all the luck in finding a new Yorkie. I live in Butler, PA and have been trying to find a puppy for some time now. Most of the sellers want to fly them in to the Pittsburgh Airport but I don't want to do that. I would rather purchase one from someone locally. I have also gotten alot of fraudulent emails from people that say they have puppies and live in Turkey, etc. Please beware of those scams. They know that we want a Yorkie badly and can tug at our heartstrings! Hugs, Marcie |

| Thank you all so very much for both your help and kind words regarding our Tabitha. We were able to find a breeder pretty close to our home and we have all fallen in love with the little girl she had. Our new baby will be coming home sometime this coming weekend and we couldn't be happier. She is so alert and happy, seems to really love the other dogs and the breeders cats, so she should feel right at home in our house. Many Hugs, Tracy |

| Whoo hoo! You found a little girl! Can't wait to see pics. I live near Kennywood Park, by the way, and am thinking about seeing if there would be any interest in a doggy park get-together with the other Pittsburghers. Check the Mid-Atlantic regional forum every so often if you're interested. There's also a great event in York, PA, each year held by a rescue organization out there that I went to for the first time this year, and it was absolutely fantastic; you may want to keep your eyes on the regional board for that next spring. Enjoy your baby girl! |
