| Just left my little Glory girl at the vet.... she was so afraid!! She was fine getting ready... and in the car... but as soon as the vet tech asked me to hand her over to her - - Gloria started shaking like a leaf!! Poor baby.... ugh, I hate leaving them at the vet!! Please say a prayer that she does well.... I pick her up this evening...

| well, it wasn't me that wanted her to breed. I just think it is unethical to try to breed a girl this small. I am so glad Gloria is going to what sounds like a wonderful home and bless your heart Dena for doing all you can for her. |

| Hi, so very nice of you to include photos for us to see. She will be in my thoughts today, I will remind God to hear our prayers throughout the day for her to have a safe surgery, & a quick recovery. When Jazzie needed her surgery, I postponed it as long as I could. I finally took her in, she was spayed, by the next day! she was ready to run after Zander & play! Can you imagine us women having a hyst. and feeling like that the next day?, lol. I pray she will be a happy girl by tomorrow. Quote:

| Gloria is home and.... while she's lookin' pretty rough... seems to be doing very well... Her incision doesn't seem to be bothering her much, but her mouth is a little "ouchy" I think... the Dr. extracted three teeth. They said she could stand to have a cleaning, but that would have required her to stay under anesthesia an additional 30 minutes... that was a little scary for me, so I decided the spay and extraction of her baby teeth was enough for one day.... The biggest obstacle right now is that she doesn't get up to potty... so when she has to wee, she just does... so I have her snuggled down, wrapped in a warm blanket (she's shivering a bit - - chills - - from the anesthesia I presume) - laying on top of a potty pad in my bed... I haven't tried feeding her, but she did take a couple of licks of an ice cube and hasn't had any vomiting... She sleeping well right now, so hopefully she'll have a peaceful evening. While I was waiting to pick her up, I stopped off at PetSmart and picked up her little travel kennel, bed, etc. - - - got to the check out and the girl said... "awwww, did you get a new puppy".... I cried.... <<sigh>> Gonna' miss this little face... but I'm so happy to have found Sylvia!! I saw a post earlier about how often times new parents don't keep in contact once the babies go home... I know Glory is not a pup I raised... and we haven't even had her for very long.... but I am so happy that this won't be the case with Sylvia and her family!! Gloria will be right here on YT with us!! Anyway, she's doing well - thanks for the warm wishes and keep them coming for a quick recovery so she can get home to her new mom in time for vacationing in Lake Mead!!

And thank you, Dena, for taking the time to get to know me and my family. My life is pretty much an open book; just ask and I'll answer. And thank you for your sincerity. You have made me fell very comfortable with my decision to add Gloria to our family, and when that precious one arrives, I know I will see a baby that has been loved very much these last few months.

| Gloria is doing much better this morning... she had a pretty peaceful night (slept right on top of my head all night! ha!) but I couldn't get her to eat anything at all.... This morning she ate a few tablespoons of wet food and is in better spirits.... still kinda' ouchy all over - and not moving around much... but wagging her little stubby nub and her eyes are nice and clear...

| Awww, so nice to see her pictures, glad she is recovering well. Even after surgery her hair looks beautiful . Hope she continues to eat, I gave Jazzie water with a syringe, perhaps you can try that with Gloria, I was worried of dehydration. Did the vet give you pain pills for the 1st 2 days or so? Perhaps when you give her the pain meds, her mouth will feel better and she will be more willing to eat. Praying for you little one. Hugsss

But she's really doing very well.... drank lots of water on her own through the night... has had no vomiting at all from the anesthesia - and other than the chills that still continue (I have her snuggled with Natalie's little heat disc) she seems to be doing very well... I'm quite pleased with her, she's a little trooper! No whining or complaining at all... she hasn't been the least bit interested in the incision... just wants lots of snuggles! I gave her a little more of the wet food just now and she's eating ravenously so I think we're on the way to a beautiful recovery! Thanks for continuing to check in on her!

| Great to hear she is eating, drinking. Not trying to be a pest, just concerned, isn't chills or shivering a sign of cold, nervous or pain? Then again the warmth of the compress does help pain.
