| Just a friendly suggestion, I would not get the smallest yorkie I could find. Most every yorkie is pretty darn small anyway. But the itty bitty ones are sooooo easy so damage and hurt, plus I believe its easier for them to have health problems. Have you considered checking with yorkie rescue. I am sure you can find a very loving and grateful baby that will be pretty inexpensive. I am sure if you rescue one, everyone on this board will think you a hero.

| Someone has already asked the age of your son. A very tiny Yorkie (there is no such thing as a teacup..any breeder can say any size is a teacup if they want. There are no standards other that toy group and to 7 pounds as adult) is not only expensive to buy but they often are so small because they are the runt of the litter. that comes with a set of medical problems very often. So, the bigger outlay of money, may very well be in vet bills. Please do a rearch for the standards and genetics of a Yorkie before you spend any money..You could end up with a totally broken heart and an empty wallet. This is not meant to dissuade you from buyimg one of our beloved breed but it is intended to help point you in the right direction when searching for a Yorkie as a family pet.. |
