| At 86 years old, maybe a cat would better suit her life style.

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | Welcome to YT! i think it's so sweet that your grandmother is seeking a companion. How is your grandmothers health? Has she ever had a yorkie before? I would suggest a older yorkie that is already potty trained. Make sure you have someone lined up who is willing to help out with vet and grooming trips. Best of luck! |

| I just wanted to recommend looking into rescue groups for an older yorkie...or possibly even a show breeder retiring dogs. Yorkies can live 15-20 years so its just something to think about. Plus, an older dog should be calmer and already potty trained.

| There are many things to be considered when placing a dog with a person of this age. How healthy is the person and is there a relative that lives close by in case help is needed to care for the dog. What about finances? Most elderly people are on fixed incomes and vet bills can be quite high. |
