| ![]() Hi! My name is Laurie and I am new to Yorkie talk. My Yorkie Izzy, whom we all loved very much, disappeared last week when I let him out to use the bathroom. I'm certain someone picked him up and we have spent countless hours searching for him, and have posted ads and flyers, with no luck. My family is devastated, especially my 11 year old daughter.....can anyone please help me find a Yorkie ???? I promised her another one if we could not find Izzy, and because Izzy was given to me by a friend, I had no idea how expensive they are, and I just can't afford to buy her one right now. I would appreciate any advice or help with my situation. We live in Eminence Kentucky, which is located between Louisville and Frankfort. Izzy was a wonderful pet; he was so happy all of the time and loved to get attention; he stayed with me no matter what I was doing, or where I was at....we miss him so badly, and I can only soothe myself in the hope that whoever got him, loves him as much as we do. ![]() Last edited by simonandhallie; 01-09-2008 at 02:52 PM. | ![]() I'm sorry this has happen. I wouldn't be to quick to find another Yorkie just yet. Maybe fence the yard first. If you do get another small dog, be sure to go outside with it every time. You can't take your eyes off of them when they are out. Either they are taken by a person or an animal, especially at night. |

| ![]() Good Luck with your search for a new baby. But I am really hoping Izzy comes home soon! Be sure to check with all of the grommers in your area for you lost Izzy. That is how I got my Lizzie back one time. Have a great evening!

| ![]() Hmmm...so you want a free dog? I hate to sound pessimistic (or maybe I'm just realistic), but I seriously doubt you are going to find one. Heck, I'm sure we all wish we could have found one for free...lol. My suggestion would be to take you time and not rush into buying another one right away. Save up your money and try to better prepare yourself and your family for the responsibility of owning and caring for a new dog. I hate to think of disappointing a demanding 11 yr old, but maybe involve her in the search and preparation too for the meantime. ![]() Last edited by BamaFan121s; 01-09-2008 at 03:23 PM. |
