Hi wishing you the best in finding your forever fur-baby, dont give up theres always hope. I have seen a lot of ads here on YT of people wanting to rehome their babys, so good luck and keep your eyes open.

I am thinking this girl is not coming back...I think she is gone from this site..sad but it looks like it..she got quite slammed, and being new, I am sure what she must be thinking..I sent her a pm, hoping to hear from her, but she probably doesn't know what a pm is..took me a bit and I am still figuring out this whole site...
I tried telling her there were lots of baby's and one's needing to be rehomed to come back.. never heard from her...
maybe the thread should just close.

Why? The turmoil in this thread seemed to have ended yesterday...or so I thought.

People are still making suggestions and offering help to her. I don't see where the OP was ever "slammed" by anyone.

Plus, she said she would have to check back "every few days."

You know...she didn't sound like she was begging to me from what I read in her post. I can totally relate to her, as in when I was about 23 years old...living in a one bedroom home ALONE and although I didn't have "alot" of money then, I sure did have a little yorkie that I loved and adored and his health care/needs always came first and foremost in my budget even though I wasn't "well off".

I hope you find a little companion...we all need one. They make life so much nicer. I also agree that you should maybe consider looking into a rescue or an older yorkie that is being retired. Best wishes to you.

Please, for a first timer the things that were said would have been enough
to scare her. Face it, things were getting out of hand for no reason.
I guess it depends on what side of the fence you are on in regards to how
you read these posts. IMO they certainly were intiminating. With absolutely
no reason to go in that direction. The dog mentioned may have lost a
loving home.

You are right...there was no need for it to go in that direction and all depends on how you choose to interpret what you read. Hopefully the OP will notice that all of the negativity stayed between those who were already members and wasn't directed at her. Sadly, there are lots of members who join, post 1 or 2 times and never come back for whatever reason. So if she doesn't return, you can't really draw any conclusions as to why... But again, I thought the differences were put aside two days ago, sooo....not sure what's sparking the new posts complaining about dead and buried issues between other members...I guess Santa's elves have gone crazy!

I think what turned this thread into "drama" was the post that quoted the rules. some felt it was unnecessary and took it from there. some felt what was quoted was wrong because it stated begging was not allowed, when in reality the original poster was not begging. I agree that it really is how you interpert what you read, I am guilty of reading something the wrong way. lets just hope she comes back because YT is really great.

You are right. In reality the person who posted the rules (ME!) wasn't doing it to accuse her of begging...I just copied the whole section that explained about average pricing and rescue in addition to making some other helpful suggesting other avenues for finding a dog without breaking the bank. I tried to explained that--more than once--but if people continue to try to make it into something else...not really much I can do. Apparently others somehow know what I meant more than I know myself!

I didnt go back to reread who quoted the rules so I couldnt say you personally (sorry) you say you didnt mean anything by it, and im sure you didnt. Maybe next time you could just copy what you wanted her to see (the part on rescues) that way it wont turn into a problem like it did

I didnt understand why the rules was posted here any way. But Ive seen it done more then once, whats done is done, I just hope the PO comes back and I hope she finds her a forever fur-baby.

I did it the way I did because I was hurrying and never dreamed it would be blown so out of proportion.
As Shadow mentioned...it has been done before, many times, many rules, by members other than just myself, not sure what made this such a big deal...

Not the first time, won't be the last... Oh well, not going to lose sleep over it....
