| AKC Female Proven Breeder, Debarked and House Trained 1. Your name - Sue White 2. Your city, state: Fredericksburg, VA 3. Your phone number: 540 786-5799 4. Your email address: pinehaven@aol.com 5. Yorkie(s) For Sale: 1 6. Birthdate of Yorkie(s): July 2004 7. Age of Yorkie(s): 3 years 8. Registration if any (AKC, etc): AKC and ACA 9. Price: $1500.00 10. Do you ship your Yorkies: possibly 11. Any additional information you want to add: Tasha is a beautiful AKC and ACA registered blue and tan silky coated girl, currently weighing about 6 1/2 lbs (but she could easily go on a diet - she was 5 lbs prior to motherhood). She is very loving and obedient, knows basic commands, is completely trained to use the potty pads or "go outside," she has been debarked (has a quiet, muffled bark) and loves to dress up and go for car rides. Not only has Tasha been my best house dog, she's been my best producer. She free whelps, is easy to breed and is a great mother. Currently nursing a litter of Parti Carrier pups, her pups will be fully weaned in the next 2 weeks, than she'll be ready to go. She is one of my favorite girls but sadly my breeding goals have changed and Tasha no longer fits in with my new plans. I hope she will be someones special girl and will be pampered and spoiled but she'll also be a valuable breeding dog for the breeder who's looking for a quality and proven girl. Please call or e-mail for more information.

| I bought her when she was 15 months old. Her family was military and lived on base, I guess they debarked her because of the close quarters that they lived in? I never asked why? She can bark, it's just a very quiet, muffled bark ... like someone is holding her mouth closed when she barks.

| I totally agree. It is cruel as they slice their vocal cords, and I'm glad that you (the OP) didn't do this to her. She sure is adorable. She should probably be fixed before adopting her out so she doesn't get into the wrong "breeder" hands. I hope she finds a loving forever home soon.

| I believe it was more due to being kicked out of the military housing (not single family), than it was the owner "didn't like it." I was told there was a limit on 2 dogs per house hold, they had to be walked in certain areas ... the rules seemed pretty strict if you wanted to own a dog.

| All of my yorkies are a part of the family, they live with me and since I have limited space I can't keep them all. I'm getting into breeding parti yorkies and want most of my dogs to carry the parti gene (parti's or parti gene carriers). Of my 2 traditional yorkies, Tasha is house trained and the other is sometimes trained - so I will keep the Madison (spayed), because I worry may not fit into a new home as well.
