I'm new to yorkie talk
 
Just want to say a yorkie friend told me about yorkie talk. I'm hoping to learn some grooming skills and brag a little about my boy--Kamikaze---AKA Kam-o.
We were at the Fort Smith shows and give a big congrats to the winners !! Also want to thank my new Friends :) when I needed a friend !! Thanks Sonya and Reisha:D and I hope to see ya in Canton,Tx at the tyler shows

Welcome to YT! You'll like this forum. I saw your website nice doggies :) But I have more than 6 yorkies and all are in my house LOL. I couldn't keep any of them away from me :) My house is pretty clean because I'm a neat freak :) it can be done :)

Hey Donna, my dogs are kept with me too...My family comes to visit and is amazed that there is no doggie smell and how clean they are all kept.

I have a lot to tell me how amazed they are about how I can keep 9 dogs in my house and it be normal lol well except when you have 7 of the 8 meet and greet you at the door that's not normal. There are times my house isn't clean but that's because I get lazy from time to time but I wouldn't want to keep my dogs off my house guess that's why I'll always have a small show kennel :) I'm always cleaning when I get home from work raising dogs is a full time job LOL

i have eight in my house plus five puppies in the whelping box. But, i only have one breeding female (right now), two spayed girls, three puppies from five to ten months old and two horney males. oh, that is only the yorkies. I forgot about the big, fat cute spayed PUG named Lucy. Somehow we all exist and do fairly well with cleanliness.

Welcome to YT! I have 5, soon to be 6 children and there's no way that I could have all of my dogs in the house! I have 10 and wow... that would just be too much! I do bring them in for whelping though and until the puppies are big enough to go out in the kennel. They are still brought in daily so we can play with them. Good luck in the ring!

yep !! i have 11 in the house. also a clean freak. everyone say's wow!! no dog small, how do you do it !! alot of cleaning. lol:animal-pa big welcome !www.dyannasyorkies.com

I keep mine in the house as well thank god for belly bands, panties, washable pee pads and odoban:) I wouldnt have it any other way!!:D

My puppy was named when I got him---so that was that---we call hiom Kam-o as my husband is a hunter and wears Kam-o ( it's spelled differently !!!) I use to show German wirehair Pointers--our Bitch won Brood bitch class at the Nationals in 1991 (90 or 91??) I'm to old to be running around the ring now so I got a smaller dog !! I've only been back showing for about 1 year. First with a different male yorkie from Prestigeous (a strut son) then I got Kam-o about 1 year ago.

Gotta love those belly bands that's for sure!!! LOL and the washable pee pads! I have a dog room in the house but they are free to roam the house except the puppies. I have no carpet so no pee stains anymore LOL. I thought about having a kennel outside the house but nawww would rather have all my babies in the house with me so I know where they are and what they are doing but of course this is just me :)

I posted a photo of Kam-O from Last springs show in Oklahoma city--scroll down to find it on the site. He was young and not much hair---he was stressed out from shipping him and blew his coat and it sure grows slooooow ! He has more hair now but not near what he should have--plus I'm new at the coat business so am needing help with product----oils--etc. We live in a very rural area and everything that is recommended is impossible to find in my area :( I\'ll try to post a few more photo\'s of my boy on this message if I can figure it out ! Remember I\'m new to this stuff !
