I guess the moral to the story is don't take yourself too seriously in the ring. I would definitely enter the 6-9 month dog class, the judges are great with first time puppies.

They have a novice class too, is that for older dogs and wouldnt be appropriate to enter?

If we go its for one day, I thought if this class was appropriate, I would enter it too.

6-9 months would be best. Judges are more forgiving with the puppy classes
