| Aww, thanks you guys for all the nice words! Sorry I've been MIA for a while, I've not had alot of time for my favorite forums lately. We placed third in a champion class this weekend out of four. I was happy to get that!! My girl was tired and it was the third day of the show (six shows) and by that time she was totally exhausted and so was I. We did pick up some really good wins the previous day (Sat)! It is alot of work and my grooming and training takes up alot of my time these days. The "season" is almost over until March for me, and just when I thought I was going to get some well needed rest I've incorperated two more show hopefuls into the mix. A female bred by me and a male from a very well respected breeder who totally puts her heart and soul into her program. So much for taking a 3 month break! Now the puppy training begins again! I LOVE it though! One of them is ready for a first puppy match and thought we might go to Winston Salem this coming weekend just for the akc puppy match and see how we do. There is NOTHING more fun to watch than a puppy in it's first match! Again, thanks for all the kind words, they mean alot to me. Last edited by ButterflyYorkie; 12-04-2006 at 10:54 AM. |

| A few pics from our recent shows... The lady in the first pic with me is my beautiful Mom. She is and always has been my reason for having a head start with dogs. She raised champion quarter horses for many years and believe me that was a job in itself for her but she and my Dad always had and loved dogs and they taught me the true values in caring for animals. The second is our "deer caught in the headlights picture" Ha ha! Third is me and Rea in a candid moment. Fourth is from a show in Dallas, NC. |

| Hey Robbie, How old is the lil girl you're showing in the pics? She looks to be about Connors age. She's beautiful. Do dogs who aren't in full coat do well in N.C,? Maybe I'll have to leave Va. behind and come show in NC. It's hard to get enough Yorkies together to create a major around here.

You can actually show an adult yorkie and a few other breeds in a puppy cut with ukc. An adult poodle in a puppy clip won group 1 on Sat. | |
