| Mia's 1st "Show" Okay. Not really a show. It was a "Match" which was put on by my kennel club. Her first time in the ring and I was so very proud. 6-9 month Puppy class. Got 1st place ribbon, then got a Best of Breed ribbon, and then got a 2nd place in the group category. Wish I knew how to post pictures as I want to show those babies off. Will be posting them to my fb page for sure. The match was on the grass at a park and Mia did not know what the heck we were putting her through but she caught her rhythm and did fine after a minute. AND she was a free stacking fool. Now that we got that dress rehearsal under our belt, we are going to try for the real thing. Her first official show will be May 2nd. We are all studying our hearts out and learning as we go but enjoying every second of the ride. I need to really work on my grooming skills so that is going to be my next big project. Huge shout out and thanks to Mia's breeder, Deb Sillers, from Amazing Yorkies for all her support and advice. I would have never had the guts to attempt this without her belief in me and our baby girl. |

| Congratulations and how exciting!!! how bold of you to just go forward, I am such a lurker and stay on the shore for so long before my toes hit the water- you go! I would aspire greatly to have a show baby of debs one day I also am not a facebooker but sometimes if you post a link it will allow me to access it- I would love to see your pics too! The thing about posting pictures to YT is that the file has to be smaller than 200kb so most people have to resize their photographs to upload them (the paper clip on the navigation bar takes you to the upload page) I use my phone so I was able to download an easy to use resizing app. Really excited for you
