If I can do Las Vegas , you can do Texas ! Las Vegas was my 10th dog show ever. I learned so much there and can't wait to do another Specialty....I would really love to go to NY next year, I'm going to book the New Yorker right after it's over this year.

Hope you are right Carl! Because as of right now I have a big fat ONE under my belt lol. But we are doing several between now and July so hopefully I will learn a ton before I get to Texas.

Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone can give me info on the NY Progressive Toy dog show? I inquired with my breeder about the NY Specialty and she suggested I got o the Progressive show instead. Any thoughts?

I'd go to all of it! The specialty is much better in my opinion but if you live close by I'd go to all 3 events! Progressive is on Friday and it's all toy breeds and the specialties is on Saturday and Sunday and only yorkies. I'm sure on Friday at the Progressive the yorkies will show on Friday afternoon due to puppy sweeps being in the morning at the New Yorker!

The Progressive is an ALL Toy dog show, so you will see all the toys. It is on Friday Feb 11th, during the time Yorkie Sweeps are going on. Yorkies will show VERY late afternoon and NO yorkie puppy classes are offered

is this event only for people who show their dogs? i tried to look up info on the website for prices and i saw info for people who are entering. i would love to go, plus its on my birthday !

No all shows are open to the public. There maybe a nominal entry fee for spectators $5-$10 or so. Plus you get to shop at all the vendors present (for free )

My room is booked, but alas I won't be going this year. I plan to wait it out until next year when I can enter my new Jack bitch in the Specialty. I am really sad about not going this year to see Vicki and Jack, but I figure to "do NYC" right I'd better save my pennies.

Well I am excited for everyone that is going!!! I've met the Razz man at a couple shows but havent' met his momma yet.

Hope you all have a safe trip, the snow storms stay away for travel and you all have a blast! (which I know you will)
