Hey Pat! The shows were a blast. Molly from Cloverdale Yorkies flew in and went with me. We went from open to close all the days. We shopped till we dropped too. I bought some wraps and some bands. I bought some products to try on my ShoPo too. I can't wait until I enter my first show. It was amazed to see only one bred by exhibitor entered all 4 days. Can't wait till 2006 I'll be going to many more shows! Thanks for asking. How's your ShoPo doing? Any recent pics of her? Hugs, Irene

Irene, you really made it a great trip with all four shows. Ask Pat but I have always heard not many wins are from "bred by exhibitor" Things may have changed but Pat would know. I bet you are so excited to get out there ....it was a dream of mine that you can fullfill ok. Both of you have a wonderful holiday season and I hope 2006 is good to both of you. Irene you may run into Pat out there one of these days.

Thank you Joan for at least thinking I know the answer to this question...LOL You are correct, most point winners come from the Open classes. Once in awhile you will see an ad in York mag with a statement the dog was finished from the BBE class. If a dog or bitch is not quite ready for Open, they will get some experince in BBE.. I used to enter my first really nice show prospect in it..I was so proud to show off my boy..Johnny Robinson of Trivar came over one day and said..Pat, will you stop fooling around in BBE and put that dog in Open, you will never get any points.

Acutally Info Dog is now showing the results. I just checked them today. I was happy to see an owner handling their own Yorkie win against some of the professional handlers. It was a "Mariah Yorkie" (bred by Peggy Nygard), he won Best Open Dog on Saturday. That gave me some encouragement. Irene PS. Joan, I live in North Ridgeville, about half hour west of Cleveland.

around so you can just imagine the traveling she had to do. My girls went to High School in Rocky River but I'm quite a ways from there now. North Ridgeville would be a wonderful spot to have dogs.

Peggy is still in Montana. I just ordered some Emu oil capsules from her. People swear it is wonderful for painful joints (human) arthritis etc..so I am getting it for my husband.

| Pat, this is the first day I have been on any length in awhile and to think I ran into this. I have never heard of that oil but I am surely going to look into it and tell Sherry Lynn too. Does Peggy have a website: I'll just goggle Mariah Yorkshire Terriers and see, otherwise I know her phone # or email is on the YTCA ( I think anyway) I'll pm you if I have trouble. Isn't life funny - I remembered she lived in Montana and you knew she still lived there. I still haven't checked the results so I am going to do that now.
