That's one of the most nerve wrackng times for me. How much to fluff, what to leave as is. Final paw touch up. Do you need anti slip on paws or not? Unfortunately here in Canada - it seems like the exhibitors now are scissoring the beard. When I first learnt the grooming, it was never touch the beard. But looks and grooming style is ever evolving.

Now the red bow in yorkies seems to be de rigour. I heard before that it was orange. Who knows why the color changes, or why we all go with the red now. I'm thinking of doing Razz man next wkend in a different coloured bow

Mayhap I'll start a trend

What color are you going to use?

The reason red is worn is because it compliments the blue best.

While Tami was readying Avery, a handler put a Poodle on a grooming table and the dog immediately jumped onto a Yorkie’s smaller, rolling grooming station right behind Tami (thank goodness the Yorkie was elsewhere at the time). The Poodle looked like she was going to jump onto Tami’s shoulders or table next. Thankfully the handler got the dog under control before it became a complete catastrophe.

After the show, I had the pleasure of meeting Tami. She is a lovely lady, she is passionate about her dogs, and I could see that she truly enjoys working with them and showing them. The bitch you posted might be her. This one is a dog.

Without going through the line up. A special is the one entered that already earned a Champion. The purpose was to show you the one that often wins. A special can lose to class dogs (dogs that have not earned the championship).

Georgette and Jamie were showing there. They live nearby. They're both outstanding in and out of the ring.

Haven't made up my mind yet. But blue is on body and not head, so red does compliment gold, but so does green.

I'm thinking about a green/gold bow, or I do have an orange one. I personally like butter yellow, it looks amazing on him. Well I've only had wrapping papers in that color, but I have my eye out for a bow of that color.
