| She looks ready to me. This summer should be a lot of fun. Will you be in Charlotte this weekend?

| No, not with the pups still young. My hubby is good to watch over them, but still need a mama's hand. I have to look at the schedules and see though what shows I can enter for in a couple of weeks or after though. And which dog to enter. I have Cha-Cha (16 months - I thought she was older, but just checked her file), Trey (2 years) and Cici (3 years). I guess Cici will be first and maybe can show Trey at the same time. I know I missed Perry too. I have to get my act in gear. This winter was so long and was waiting for warmer weather - to get in some practice on the lead. Well, no more excuses now. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | WOW! now that's a topline. Holy Moly! You have the shiniest babies EVER. You were so sweet to share with me via PM how you groom them. I would use a car buffer if I thought it would make my one and only Biewer shine. Still no luck. I understand about the "reflective" quality of really good Yorkie hair and maybe mine just doesn't have it. You mentioned changing her food to bring out the shine. Is that something that people who show their dogs don't share? I don't want to offend you, and I understand if you choose not to share that publicly. Dog show world is something I only know as a very apprecitive spectator. Venders love me as I am obsessed with my Priscilla. |

| Thanks! I tried one food and switch right away. I sent you a PM of what I feed now. You have to have a good silky coat too to get a shine, as well. Silky coats will reflect the light. And good food feeds the coat and the body from within to get what the body needs as well. I believe you have to have both to get that shine. |

Good luck with school! I know how hard it is with trying to do it all - schoolwork with life is one of the hardest things to do. I think I was going to school forever. Got my BA, then Masters, and then took a year off to return the following year for my Specialist degree. With two kids, working full time, and our own business was so hard. Luckily I did not have yorkies then, except our pet yorkie. I was studying pedigrees and doing my research though at this time to be prepared. It is tough. My hat goes off to you. I know you can do it though! Last edited by topknot; 04-05-2010 at 09:49 AM. | |

| Tina - I swear you have the best looking females! They hold their color so well! Beautiful! I'm looking forward to hearing you do well with showing all of them! Oh, btw - if you need any help watching those puppies - just let me know.

| Ahhhh.. thank you. I love a nice rich color, since I know due to hormones females lighten with age. All I can do is try my best that I am making the best match possible. I have a video of the pups on my personal page. They are too funny. We found out that they love to chase plastic Easter eggs. You can watch them anytime now. Just come on over! They had me so tired yesterday. So much energy and less sleeping now that they are getting older. I set up a pair of steps (ones you use to allow the dogs to get up on sofa and beds) back to back with pillows on each side and they loved going up and down the steps. It is all about giving them opportunities to learn about different surfaces and keeping them learning. Makes a happy, smart puppy. The talking hippo - toy in happy meals from McDonalds was so funny to watch them with. Kept them busy for awhile. They were not sure at first about it. So funny to watch.
