the thing that struck me odd in this thread was the main interest in "attire" by the OP...where was the interest in the breed?

I'd like to think I saw a red flag there...:thumbdown

I couldn't agree with you more but, it's the society we live in today...I want it and I want it now! :rolleyes:

Not odd at all, advice was given to her about how to go about finding a show dog, studying the breed, up front..

She was asking questions on show attire, questions that were answered.....Show attire is something every exhibitor should take into consideration.

And now you know why exhibitor/breeders have become so guarded with their lines/dogs.....

Questions were asked on how to buy to find a breeder, equipment, grooming, etc.

So, yes the focus on clothing was a bit premature as I stated in one post....but, not out of the ordinary when one is new.

You can not scam someone out of money if you dont get any money and this old girl has learned a lot from all of this. Yes now I know why show breeders are so guarded. All I was doing was trying to help someone young start showing and enjoy something that I love so much. But it wont happen again. Thank you to everyone who came to my defense.
