I must admit...I have to agree with you...lol All the credit goes to Mary (Mardelin), his grandpa, Rob, his beautiful daddy Ch This Time I'm Here Let's Party "Charmer" and his mommy Ch This Time Worth the Wait, "Go-Go" and of course, Lee (This Time Yorkies) who we dearly love. I'm sorry CJ didn't get his last major this weekend. It's hard for me to believe because he is has it all. C'mon judges!!!

It isn't the judges, because CJ has pulled wins almost every weekend he's been out. It's the lack of Majors here in California....it's almost like you have to just enter everything and pray that a Major will happen.

OK, so getting a major is about the number of dogs shown against? (still learning here) Like winning against 5 isn't as good as winning against 15.

Yep! In California you need 6 dogs and 7 bitches for a 3 point Major. A bit stiffer in Texas/OK as it is in NY.

Without pulling up the AKC system I don't know what it takes for a 4 point and 5 point Major.....I think it takes 15 Bitches for a 5 point Major in Texas. You can get a lot of single wins 1 & 2 points, but you need those 2 Majors and and those Majors have to be awarded by different judges.
