Thanks! I am just having problems with seperation anxiety now with her daddy being at his handler's place now. I had to drop him off Friday! It is just so hard.

Bridgett weighs just 2.2 pounds at 15 weeks old, so no chance of her growing big enough to show.

At least I have her litter sister Rosie I will be keeping.

Rosie is very nice. I love her gold. How much does she weigh now? Have you found a home for her little sister yet?

She weighed 2.12 pounds last weekend. So she should be okay to show.
Yes, I did find a fantastic home for Bridgett.

I'm confused, I thought Bridgett weighed 2.12 at 15 weeks. I am glad Bridgett found a good home. I know someone is really lucky.

No, Rosie weighed 2.12 and Bridgett weighed 2.2.

So do you think Bridgett will be around 4 1/2 to 5 lbs grown. That still seem so little to me. I have some hunky girls. LOL

I am thinking 5-5.5. Here on the east coast they want smaller, but I do not like going below 5. Also I do not go by any chart. I find they are more wrong than right. Rosie is nice and compact right now and hope she will follow suit. Her mom is 6.2 pounds and her dad is 5. Her grandparents are between 6.5 and 5 pounds too. So just have to wait and see. I wish I had a magic ball and could see into the future. But never go by the charts nor do most of the famous breeders/show exhibitors I know that have a lot of experience.

I have also found that the charts are not all that accurate. I do hope she goes over 5 lbs for you. I prefer my females 6 to 8 lbs but with just a little extra meat on their bones at that weight. I don't like my dogs too thin but it is not always that easy to get them in the ideal weight range. Have you seen many pups that by the weight chart turn out smaller than you thought they would? It seems to me that some pups just have more baby fat on them at 8 and 12 weeks so that really throws off their predicted weight according to the charts. Of course I know structure is very important in conjunction with weight. It sounds like Rosie has very nice structure.
