For me “different” is not necessarily bad! Seeing such a good reviews from the very reputable handlers in Europe I doubt myself! I don’t believe that is it wrong just because it’s a bit different! | |

| ![]() Sorry I never meant to offend you with my humor. Which I, and it seems I am not the only one, seem to have done. I think it is strange that he is on the floor, I said in my previous post that I think it would be easier and much more comfortable to judge from a standing position. But you are the one who started this thread, and if you didnt want comments, why did you bring it up? Just curious. ![]()

| ![]() I think he should've looked @ the Yorkies on a table and then have them go around the ring and kneel to judge their movement!! I think his kneeling down gives him a different prospective to watch the dogs up close and see how their movement is as they pass him!! When I used to show my Chinese Shar-Pei we had a judge @ the Red Rose Classic in Lancaster that would kneel as the group passed him!! The Individuals he stood and judged!! I thought it was different but whatever angle works for the Judge, It's his ring to judge how he sees fit!! ![]()

| ![]() It makes perfect sense why he'd be in that position watching them go by. I'd never seen that either though. |

| ![]() That is very interesting. My only concern was, wouldn't it be hard to see the topline and the gate from looking down....but, I guess he does appear to getting pretty close to the floor to get his view.. it just seems like he probably makes the yorkie and the handler/owner feel pretty comfortable from that perspective....kinda like he really likes being right there with the dogs..\ It would be nice to hear a more "experienced" perspective, than me that is for sure.....I have only been involved in showing for 3 years.
