| CA yorkie points I need some help to understand! I see some discrepancy that confuses me. Here I see http://www.akc.org/pdfs/events/confo.../division3.pdf In order to get major (3 points) in Ca 9 dogs should be shown (both M & F) But here Yorkshire Terriers DIVISION 9 POINTS SCHEDULE In order to get a major for M 5 dogs should be presented And for F 8 dogs should be shown… Very confusing! Thank you for all the thoughts! |

| Hi, not so confusing. Your first reference is Division 3 and CA is not in that division. Your second reference is correct. CA is in Division 9 and that is the one that you should be going by. The numbers will probably change in May depending on what the count has been at Division 9 shows. Hope this clears it up for you. Denise |

| Yelena, here is a link to AKC's website that lists all the divisions. The number of dogs needed for a major varies from region to region. It is all based on the number of dogs for a particular breed that have been showing though out the year. Each year the numbers are changed. |
