I do not dare to dream... 1 Attachment(s) Anyways, this is Selma, almost 12 weeks. Last week she grew her legs, this week it has been the back. I think she'll end up with a bit longer body, but I'm hoping that her attitude ( it's awful, this is a tiny devil) and the way she carries herself will compensate.. If I compare her to her mother she is looking a bit better than her mom at this age and even her mother did turn out quite ok. Tan is still a bit odd, but since her mother had darker tan at this age and ended up with a bit too dark tan (not brown) in my opinion, I guess and hope that she'll have a nice bright shaded tan. All the face-shots are awful, she really doesn't look anything like herself on those, so there won't be any :) |
Aww she is very cute! Sometimes they just do not cooperate for pictures! Selma looks very promising! I think it is safe to start dreaming...my fingers are crossed for you! |
I think she is showing a lot of promise.....Even though I don't see where you say she's longer in the back, I like my girls a bit longer in the back.....great for whelping. |
You're right, Sylvi whelped so easily and carried her puppies with no problem at all.. and she's only 2,7 kg normally. Her weight was just about 4 kg before whleping and her waist measured 46 cm 5 days prior to birth. She looked awful  The way she is built must have helped.. But anyhow she's still squere when you put the coat down. When her coat is wrapped she looks a bit like a tax. Well, almost :D This line is such a slow grower, my male grew untill he was 3 yrs old. We'll just have to wait and se how Debonaire's genes mix with these. |
1 Attachment(s) Well, here she is reaching and stretching herself.. |

Thanks! I really do like her neck, it's as long as her mothers :) |
She is adorable. Love her coat, love her color and just simply love her! :D |
Thanks! I love her too.. especially her awful temperament. She has sliced Sylvis (mom's) hair totally, and we're supposed to head to a show in Norway next weekend.. Well, she'll just have to do without her beard.. |

I like her! You watch, she'll be great! |
At this point I think she looks very nice!!!! She seems to have a nice top-line, stacks great and looks to have a silk coat.:) |
Thaks you all! Maybe I dare to start dreaming then.. I'm hoping this little girl will be my foundation bitch some day. There's nothing but silk and straight top-lines and good fronts behind her. Can't wait to see how she matures.. |
She looks adorable, start dreaming I'm sure your dreams will come true!!! |
She is adorable |
1 Attachment(s) OK, she'll be 14 weeks on Tuesday. At last a decent head-shot :) Her eyes flash green on photos, I know (or have heard) that it's a good sign.. |
She's adorable. |
She has a lovely face good luck!!! |
Real cutie |
Very nice head and coat looks nice coloring. Keep updating us with pics !! I enjoy seeing them |
Thanks! I weighed her today, shes 1350 gr at 14 weeks. So she'll probably won't be too big anyways. It's moosehunting here and my dad had taken legbones etc home for my sisters dog.. and Selma attacked them :D She was not scared at all  |
3 Attachment(s) Here's Selma at 18 weeks (1,8 kg) it's interesting to see how they change, I think! An one photo of my male, guess if he had fun playing in the snow?!? Pictures c JN |
I'm guessing that yes, he had a great time! :p And your little girl is adorable! Please keep posting with updates! I just found this thread but it's fun to watch how she's grown already and I would love to see how she continues to grow! |
1 Attachment(s) Selma 8,5 months. She had wraps on her back legs, that's why the coat is wavy. She weighs now 2,3 kg and is very playful and loving little thing. |
Wow--I love her blue! When do you plan on showing her? |
Thanks. I hope her tan developes soon.. it's coming, but slowly... I'll propably show her this summer. Here they don't dq for the colour like in States. But she won't get highest prize on evaluation because of the colour. I haven't shown her on puppy matches so we need some practise even though she won't win anything. Besides, here they must be older than 2 yrs to ch. They can collect cac's prior to their 2nd birthday, but the last must be given in adult classes. |
2 years old to CH? Wow-I didnt know that! 8.5 mos is pretty young for the tan to fully mature however, I am sure it will be spectacular by the time she is 2! Best of luck with her in the ring! Keep us posted on her progress! |
Yeah, I think it's good.. Since you really can't tell how a puppy or even young dog matures... Coat, especially colour, is so difficult. I'll keep posting pictures on her every now and then.. I think it's fun to follow their growth. |
1 Attachment(s) So, here's Selma 18 months. Still the devil herself and DOES NOT want to be stacked. She fights back with all the muscels in her neck and back and looks like a camel if I try to make her  So I try with baiting and then her nose is up... |
Any tips for stackin her properly without braking her spirits? Please... she's really wonderful dog and I love her just as she is, but since I know that she has potential.. she did great last summer (got 3 cacs and 2 reserv-cacs already) and I'd love to show her at her best - not fighting her at the table... |
