| I have ordered bows from different ones, but none compare to the ones that Mary Lundgren (Mardelin) makes. She made some for our auction at Bluebonnet and people were fighting over them..LOL! (She was asked, and also made the beautiful bows that winners got at the Red Bow Specialty.)

| I havent seen Mary's bows but I can totally vouch for the ones that Jackie makes at Poochie Petite! Diesel just did his finishing pro photo shoot and there was no question in my mind which bow I was going to be using--the crown me bow from Poochie Petite.(its actually in my avatar too!) Bows are like potato chips--you cant have just one! |

| The red color of the bow looks the best when presenting your dog. It just looks wonderful against the shaded tan. Other colors that work well with the Yorkie coloring is shocking pink, fushia, royal purple, royal blue, emerald green. A blue bow would not look good on a dog that the head piece has not cleared yet. I would only use red in that case. White just doesnt do the Yorkie justice at all.

| Red is traditional.....doesn't mean you can't use other colors.....Very dependent on the shades of tan/gold on the head piece as to what shade of red...whether to lean toward a blue-red or tomatoe red.....If the tan/gold has a bit of red....it is best to use an orange or orange red bow.....Bright clear gold/tans look great with black bows......I've used red white and blue bows if I'm showing on a patriotic holiday another thing that should be considered when you're picking your bows is the ear size and placement of the ears (wide set or real tight)....also if your dog has a larger head or smaller......
