I know this is mainly for AKC showing. I wanted to brag. My daughter is in 4H. She showed Gracie in showmanship last night at a local county fair and placed 2nd out of 10.

The judge was an AKC judge. Most of the judges that our fairs get for obedience and showmanship judge and show AKC.

This was their first time.

Sorry, just a proud mom.

Tell her congratulations. I bet she was excited. She may get the show bug now and you might need to take her to some AKC shows. I would love to see pictures if you have any to share. I don't blame you for being proud and bragging.

I did 4-H shows when I was young. I see 4-H kids at AKC dog shows. At the Fredericksburg VA show, there is a large group that show. They have a big tent and they crate and groom their dogs together.

I love to see Juniors in the ring with Yorkies! Tell her that we are all pulling for her. If she ever decides to try the AKC, I will be glad to help her. I have 2 children involved in Jrs.
