Tina....thanks for sharing the pictures. My first Yorkie, Dixie who is almost 12 years old, has Chelsea Nimar lines behind her but it is back on her 5th gen. so I know that does not mean a lot. Her mom had 5 of the Chelsea Nimar champions on her 4th and 5 generation. Have you ever heard of Ch. Delei's Bim Bam I'm Your Man or Ch. Holliday Dancing Teddy Bear? I have not been able to find anything on them.

We call this "down in the front." You can help this when stacking, but the porblem is that the judge will find out when you gait them around and when the judge goes over your dog with their hands on the table. I have seen some pups go down in the front as they grow and then level out at maturity. I have also seen dogs not level out when grown. You just have to wait it out and make sure they are not under weight. It will tend to show more when they are under weight.

My male had Chelsea Nimar in 1st generation and Mayfair in the 2nd - from what I can remember. I had him back in the 80's.
I have not heard of Ch. Delei's Bim Bam I'm Your Man, but do know of Ch. Bim Bam I'm Your Man. I think with the Delei's - it must have been another breeder with her lines behind him - reason for similiarity in name. But I am not sure since I have not heard of Delei's. I have heard of Holiday. I think from Florida. But it is with only one "L" in Holiday. So not sure if this is the same.

Yes, Sandy has very nice yorkies!

And yes, owner of the Open Bitch is somewhat new but the dog came from Mary (breeder and co-owner) - also has great yorkies!

Reason I held my entry when he was here. You just do not know what will happen. And then that day he judged here - no DQ and there was a very dark coated yorkie in the ring (Open Bitches - with a thumbprint!). So you just don't know!

That was a typo on my part....it was Ch. Holiday Dancing Teddy Bear. Thanks for the info. Also, I meant to add your male and his puppy look very nice.

Thank you for the compliment. They had great structure! It was beautiful to feel!

Also Holiday - I was just talking to Denna (Holiday) last week. She is very nice! Does a lot of professional handling too!

that first and second picture looks just like my girl I am showing UKC right now and hope to finish in July. I put her in one AKC show at nine months old and her competion was another dark dog just like her. neither of us got DQ'd but I was holding my breath. of course, I am not showing her AKC anymore. She is over a year old now and surely would be DQ'd..

It shows the AKC Companion Event and Conformation Titlists from 1997 - 2008 Be sure to go through all the pages - some have as many as 6 pages. It shows the owners and the dogs they finished (I look at the confirmation) since that is what I show under.

Does anyone happen to know why there were DQ'ed? Both of the dogs had won points in the previous shows under different judges. I am just curious if this is a new judge or a judge that has been around awhile.

The judges that have DQ'ed with AKC so far that I know of are as follows:

1.Mr. Filburn - said will DQ puppies

2.Mrs. Rosliee Anderson (yorkie adult too light)

(2)Mrs. M. Rosalie Anderson - too light but did not DQ for thumbprints in Open.

3.Mrs. Olmous-Oliver (not sure how it's spelled but she's called Mrs. OO) dog too light from what I was told but not sure.

4.William Usherwood DQd** 4 dogs** For both Thumbprints and being too light.

5.Janice Pardue - warned she will DQ thumbprint in adults.

6.Raymond V. Filburn Jr - DQ'd 1 too dark this was a 12 month old.

7.Nancy Smith Hafner - She Dqd a puppy for not being tan enough?

Can I ask what the Roach Back means?

My Galahad is 2 and his head hasn't cleared yet...Should I give up on him clearing? If you look at the photos it to me looks like it was clearing some but now I wonder??? Can anyone explain this? Has it already cleared?? I'm confused on this I know my Sofie and Weezie and Sage have cleared.

Here is photos of him below and his Ages:

The one with him & sage He was 16 Months Old
Christmas he was 19 Months Old
His head in oil he is 2
His body in oil he is 2 (He just turned 2 May 4th) :) Lee

At what ages are Yorkies (Male and Female) considered a Adult? Do males heads clear at different ages then females? Or do they all clear about the same time? Or does their heads clearing have to do with their lines? :) Lee
