| For people interesting in learning to show The UKC has a nice little article on getting started. It is basic but gives a good information. http://www.ukcdogs.com/WebSite.nsf/WebPages/DogTraining |

| I will be at the Chesterfield, VA UKC show practicing with my Maltese puppy in a couple of weeks. If any wants to give it a try, I will be glad to help. There should be several Yorkies entered. I know 2 of the judges and they are great with newbies. Rowdy Yates is patient and has to most wonderful sense of humor. Win or lose, you will have a good time in his ring. His daughter Helena is also judging and she is wonderful with new people and puppies. She will take the time to let you and your dog do it over until you get it right. |

| Helena is the most gentle and patient judge with puppies that I have ever seen. I'm thinking about bringing Preston to help get him over a shy phase. I may even throw Denali into the ring as she could sure use the practise.

| I entered Preston and Denali for both St. And Sun. It's excellent practise and Denali needs her championship. Hope to see some of you there!

| It is going to be awful hard to leave Deuce at home. When I am packing for a show, I have to put his crate in the car first or he will go nuts. He knows when it is show time. He sits on the top of his crate and waits for me to put him in. |

| So bring Deuce along, he just wants to come and see his Aunt Tami! I'm going to bring Tayla on one of the days so that you can check her out.

| At least no one will be in heat. Are you driving back and forth. I think I am going to leave Sat morning around 4 so I only have to get a room for one night. I sure hope I can get a motorhome soon. I keep telling Marty that we can let the employees use it to go out of town and save money on their hotel rooms. |

| Thank you. That is very sweet of you but I am afraid there is no more traveling alone for me. From now on, Marty will have to go with me or I can't go. I am falling asleep way too much. I will have to do a lot less shows. At least Deuce is finished. |

| Is Marty bringing you to Chesterfield? I'll miss you dreadfully if he doesn't. I definitely don't want anything to happen to you but showing just won't be the same without you. Boy I wish I lived closer to you, we could have such a good time!
