| I noticed that there is a Biewer Specialty in conjunction with the IABCA show this weekend in Conyers, GA. Will any of you be there? |

| I love these little dogs and would really like to have one. Would you guys kindly answer a few questions for me. Can they be shown in the UKC? Does the national breed club want AKC recognition? If so, is recognition close? |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | There are 3 venues for showing Biewers: IABCA ARBA NAKC Biewers cannot be shown with UKC as yet. The BTCA (Biewer Terrier Club of America) would like to progress to showing with the AKC. |

Yes there is! I hear its going to be a smaller specialty! I would loved to have gone! There is a breeder who is going for her Gold Cup with one of her Biewers in IABCA! YAYAYAY! Such awesome news! But I do hear there are going to be quite a few Biewer breeders there! SO I don't know for sure how many will be there or who! I am bummed I can't go!

| Actually the breeder (Sue Williams) is going to the Georgia show to pick up her trophy as she and Homer won the 2007 Gold Cup (top ranked dog in IABCA for 2007) at this show. You can see pictures of Homer by going to: http://www.iabca.com/ The BYTNC club is also thrilled to announce that we will be hosting another Biewer Specialty in Orlando during the 2008 Sunshine Spring Sieger May 3 and 4th where Dr. J. Donald Jones - 2008 Westminster Dog Show BIS Judge will be our judge. You can read about this also on the IABCA website.

| Hi Gloria~~ Welcome to the board, from one Canadian Gal to another! Good words of wisdom you have offered. On a side note .. many years ago when I was first getting into Yorkies.. You and Terry were so very gracious and helped me go over some pedigrees, and shared lots of info. I'm still very thankful to you both! Jan

| We're off topic here but I do agree, never purchase a pup without a full screening, paired bile acid test on the pups as well as the parents. For your own sake as well as the breeder. Liza |

| In Canada the Biewers have be shown with the Rare Breed Club of Ontario since early 2006. They have many shows in conjunction with the Canadian Kennel Club. Jan
