| Question re NYC Yorkie Sweeps I was at the Yorkie Sweeps in NYC last Friday. I got there late and I was watching the show. There were 4 bitches in the ring, but I'm not sure about the age. After they all were examined by the Judge and walked around, etc. the Judge said something to the woman with the smallest Yorkie. She picked up the Yorkie, kissed and hugged it, and walked out of the ring amid enthusiastic applause. The Judge then went on to Judge the final three and pick #1. Was anyone there? I'm wondering what that was all about and I can't get it out of my head.

Yes, she was certainly adorable! But I'm wondering if she was dismissed from the ring OR maybe (and I don't know if this is possible) the little one was too young to be shown but was allowed in the ring for experience??? Just wondering. Hope someone can help.

| Could the judge have been picking Winners Bitch (the first lady who left the ring) and then Reserve Winners Bitch? Its hard to say based on the limited info you provided. |

| Sweeps doesn't have what you call winners, maybe it was a male and it's testicles were not down that could have been an excuse from the ring...I was there but didn't see sweeps and like someone else said very limited explanation.... |

| Now that I think of it, it was at the Progressive. I saw two shows that day. It happened just as I said though. The only thing I couldn't hear is what the Judge said to her.

| winners bitch Sounds like the judge was picking W/WB...no one was DQ'ed at the Progressive show...and if the judge had, there would not be a lot of applauding in agreement, few agree with DQing as it is now... Lorraine's bitch won, left and then the judge picked ReserveWB from the remaining 3..I could be wrong??? |

| Thanks, that makes sense. All the puppies were just so adorable. This puppy in particular was precious and she stopped to kiss the little one next to her. I got there late and didn't yet have a program, so I was a little bit out of the loop.
