Cavalier is a breed I know nothing about, I think they lack neck that makes a dog elegant.... But you know the breed and if you say it is a nice one I believe you....

I don't think of a Cavalier as elegant. I think of the Cavalier as Royal, I really don't think any spaniel as elegant. I have oftened wondered why the put them in the Toy class. They can get as big as 18 lbs. Deana Prestigeous | |

Yea if you try to compare them to a truly elegant Toy they do tend to look a bit clunky, thats why I wondered why they show with the Toys. They are such sweethearts just big teddy bears. They are quite a bit bigger than my Yorkies. I have Baby Face the Cavalier that dearly looses his mind when Lil Bit is out running. He sits at the gate and barks, I know he thinks that most be one awesome TOY..lol He could care less when the others are out running. Baby Face is about 7 lbs so he is a lil tiny thing himself for a Cavalier. Deana Prestigeous

They look so heavy in their fronts too, I guess it takes a bit of time to understand the breed just like any other. I have never studied the spaniels , but maybe it is a good time to start. I mind is a terrible thing to waste....

Here are some pictures from the dog show Russia-2007. The winner of this show was invaded to Eukanuba World Challenge. At the first before last picture the are two ladies: Anischenko/ in red dress and white gloves (the owner of the CH MINI SHOP COSA NOSTRA with that dog) and Babaeva (the breeder of the CH MINI SHOP COSA NOSTRA)/in white jacket and red pants. http://www.yorkiman.ru/forum/viewtop...F0%E8%EE#97274
